About the event
Sedgefield at the Park is a series of 10 NCHJA/SCHJA Hunter/ Jumper “C” horse shows held at the Carolina Horse Park, a spacious equine competition venue located in the Sandhills of North Carolina . Most of the shows are run over three days using 4 or 5 show rings and sometimes a derby field with a focus on having special themes at certain shows to differentiate them ( derbies, handy classes, Pony Finals prep, equitation finals) with weekend and year end awards for all of divisions. Sedgefield provides a quality, efficiently run (with southern hospitality), enjoyable horse show experience. The horse park continues to invest in the facility and this year is adding a new all weather ring, a new sound system for the rings and barn calls and additional stabling.
